Drekker Buttons Aren't Toys DNEIPA, 8.2% ABV. Pours hazy yellow with a four-finger snow-white head that left foamy lacing, that persisted all the way down the glass. First thing I smelt was spelt, then citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is citrus, tropical fruit, rind, slightly sweet, moderately bitter. Piney afterburp. Slightly juicy mouthfeel, overall excellent.

No canning date

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) medium golden-yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.25)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, lemon, citrus, grapefruit, with some strawberry and passionfruit underneath. (4.00)

Flavor: Some flavors of orange, pineapple, a strawberry, with a bright passionfruit citrus of the end. Juicy and citrusy. Slightly sweet. (4.00)

Feel: Medium bodied, appropriate carbonation, finishes, citrusy mildly sweet. (4.00)

Compared to Hop Butcher Mellotron 4/25: Pours lighter, stronger head. Stronger aromas. More pineapple, passionfruit, strawberry. Less tropical melon, berries, lime. More citrusy and bright.

Compared to Phase Three Unused PTO 4/25: Pours identical, milder aromas. More pink grapefruit, peach, strawberry. Less pineapple, coconut, and tangerine. Sweeter

Overall: Drekker Buttons Aren't Real, a fresh release from Drekker, but lately I haven't seen canning dates, but rather a clever remark on the bottom of the can. Interesting flavors from a combination of Citra and Simcoe. Lots of passionfruit and pineapple I suppose from the Citra. The strawberry comes from the Simcoe I'm guessing, but not the traditional Citra or Simcoe flavors I'm used to. Pretty good. (Rating: 4.02)
