Hop Diss Track don’t play, it’s West Coast to the core,
Columbus Cryo, Simcoe, Krush — who could ask for more?
Orange peel poppin’, caramel ridin’ the beat,
Malty sweetness steady, bitterness bringin’ the heat.
We brewed it loud with Mikerphone, no skips, no whack...
One sip, two sips, you’ll be spittin’ it back.
Smooth on the flow, but it cuts with attack...
This ain’t just a beer, it’s a hop-fueled diss track.

Drekker Høp Diss Track West Coast IPA, 6.8% ABV. Pours golden with a four-finger white head that left some lacing. Aroma is malty sweetness, and caramel/toffee. Taste is a balanced malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Decent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Mostly clear, pale gold colored body. Two fingers of white head, which is slow to recede. Leaves behind partial lacing walls.
Aroma is an intermingle of citrus, pine, and stone fruit (orange, grapefruit, and peach).
Taste is strong with flavors of peach, orange, grapefruit, and pine resin. Initially fruity sweet but the end brings more herbal bitterness. Aftertaste brings back the fruit.
Medium mouthfeel. The bitterness is biting but not a burn nor a palate wrecker. Very good carbonation.
Gives hints of being a WCIPA but lacks true body clarity and the bitter pill of an OG.

Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy (60% clarity) medium golden body with a strong and fluffy white head that lingers with lace. (4.25)
Aroma: Aromas of orange, grapefruit. stonefruit and pine. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, grapefruit, bitter stonefruit, and resinous pine. Strong bitterness with a bite off the end. (4.25)
Feel: Medium-body, strong carbonation. A bitter pine bite lingers off the end. Largely bitter. (4.25)
Compared to Stone IPA 9/25: Pours similar. More stonefruit, apricot, and juicy flavors. Less grapefruit, pine, and resin. Similar, but slightly less bitter.
to Toppling Goliath Dino Break 9/25: Pours lighter. More stonefruit. Less sweet tangerine. Similar bitterness. Winner: Drekker
Overall: New release from Drekker, a West-Coast IPA. I've had a lot of "phony" West-Coast IPAs over the past few years so admittedly I was a bit skeptical here. It's got the traditional Columbus and Simcoe, but also some Krush to add a stonefruit flavor. This has all the classic Citrus West-Coast flavors and a stonefruit bite. It does justice here. A strong bitter pine note off the end and finishes clean. An extremely good WCIPA. This is not a phony. This is the real deal.
