ATTENTION PLEASE! Clear the runway, roll out the velvet rope and fire up the spotlight. VIP: Very Important Pistachio has arrived and they did not crack their shell just to blend in. This brand new Dubai-style chocolate milk stout struts in on a rich chocolate base, layered with decadent pistachio that melts into a smooth, creamy finish that lingers longer than eye contact across a candlelit table.

Nice Sweet/Milk Stout. The pistachio flavor made this more unusual. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured a dense, black head with no light coming through. Aroma and taste included slightly sweet malt, lactose, chocolate and some pistachio nuts. Very good flavor!!! Mouthfeel was rich and smooth mostly sweet but with a light touch of bitterness.

Appearance: Pours a completely dark black color with a strong light tan head. SRM of 22. (4.00)
Aroma: Aromas of cocoa, lactose, pistachio, vanilla. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavors of coocaa, lactose, vanilla, pistachio and cream. Smooth pistachio cream lingers. (4.00
Feel: Medium body, appropriate to lower carbonation. Smooth. Relatively dry and clean with a mild sweetness. (4.00)
Overall: New Drekker Stout, a chocolate Dubai Stout. Sounds fancy and I dig the pistachio flavor. Cocoa, lactose, pistachio cream flavors. Drinks smooth, relatively dry with a mild sweetness. The flavor is authentic and not too sweet or artificial. I'm not saying this is my desert island beer as the pistachio flavor would tire with time, but it's well-made and delicious. (Rating: 4.00)

Drekker VIP (Very Important Pistachio) Milk Stout, 6.6% ABV. Pours black with a two-finger light brown head that left no lacing. Aroma is chocolate, pistachio, and lactose. Taste is chocolate and pistachio, faintly sweet, equally bitter, chocolate lingers in the aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, leaves sticky lips. Overall excellent. Not sweet or decadent enough to be a Pastry Milk Stout.

16 oz can stamped "The Shack That Cracks Back" into a nonic pint glass.
L: Pours black with a small amt of light at the base, a 1" beige head that recedes to edge foam, low carbo, no lacing.
S: Dark chocolate, a hint of nuttiness.
T: Dark milk chocolate, pistachio, a hint of toffee, light char, gently sweet, darkly roasted malts in the background round out the taste profile. It has minimal aftertaste.
F: Smooth, milky, medium-heavy bodied mouthfeel with a medium-fast moderately dry finish. The quick finish helps keep the overall feel a bit light.
O: Very easy drinking with a fine balance of tastes. Nothing clashing or out of the ordinary. The lactose contributes to the partially milky texture. It is simple and is very good in its style.
