Poured from a 16 ounce undated can into a tulip glass.
Appearance- Dull orange, opaque, plentiful large visible particulate at the edges, light orange sudsy head, high amount of gritty film on glass wall, above average head retention and lacing.
Aroma- Orange, vanilla, high strength of scent.
Flavor- Orange, vanilla, moderately sour, highly sweet, high strength of flavor.
Mouthfeel- Full body, average carbonation, highly sweet, moderately sour, mildly mouth warming, highly creamy.
Overall- Dull orange and opaque with plentiful visible particulate and a high amount of granular residue left on the glass wall. The bouquet was a great mix of orange and vanilla, just as promised on the can, with high strength. The flavor followed the nose with a high intensity, high sweetness and moderate sourness. The mouthfeel consisted of full body and average carbonation with mild mouth warming properties and high creaminess. This beer was delicious and nailed the goal of an orange creamsicle, the only deficiency was the appearance, which is usually the case with this style of beer.
