At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. My second beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery, and first for 2025.

M-Medium carbonation with watery mouthfeel and a medium body
T-Sweet upfront with layers of marsala and a little prune, raising and dried dark fruit medley
O-Very nice brew.

I've been waiting for this one to be selected within my collection to enjoy....here we go!
A- This one pours a super dark brown color, not truly black as I read in previous reviews....but Espresso brown is more like it, with dark charred toffee tones around the ring. The carbonation appears to be super creamy, dark caramel in color, and has moderate retention, initially about 1.5 fingers in thickness, but it is noisy and does fizzle out rather quickly, leaving behind a thick-ish ring around the inside of the glass, alongside a thin patchwork of stone age artwork on top of the liquid. The lacing is about as good too....not super sticky, but enough for some shapes to form before slowly sliding back towards the brew, and leaving behind a clear oily film around the inside of my tulip glass.
S- This has incredible aromas of milk and dark chocolates, melted of course, double double creamy and sweet dark roast coffee, and not the garbage Timmy's variety either....but real coffee....like almost a Hong Kong style cream coffee....decadent! Underlying smells of raw cocoa powder, French press black coffee, caramel/brown sugar richness, some lactose and yeast, and a finish that is just straight up of sweet cream coffee.....great!
T- The flavors follow suit to the aromas quite well, with the main difference being that on the palate, the dark chocolate/black malts show off some of the bitterness that a stout would typically be known for. Other than this, there is huge creamy sweet coffee, dark and milk chocolates, perhaps some vanilla extract, the wafer from a Coffee Crisp bar and some dark toffee char on the finish.....the flavors linger after the swallow as well, and show off just a hint of Earthy bitterness.
M/O- I would put this at a medium-heavy mouthfeel and the carbonation is smooth, velvety and allows the full flavors to coat the palate. The alcohol is hidden well too, and other than a tinge of sharpness that hits my palate each time I have a sip, it really isn't a bother. Overall, this is an easy drinking sweet stout and shows off a sweet, yet flavorful profile that is quite enjoyable. I wouldn't mind having a couple of these in a sitting and feel privileged to have had a chance to enjoy this, as it is not available here in AB.......only through a trade did I get to know about this one! Would have again and cheers to Tomorrow Brew Co for a tasty treat!

Pours pure black with caramel edges. The espresso colored head is compact but long lasting. The aroma is of coffee beans, cocoa, caramel and roasted malts. The taste is roasty and sweet with a toffee edge. Hops are very light in the mix. The mouthfeel is full and almost oily. Light bitterness and dark chocolate in the finish.
An interesting flavored stout.

Dark walnut under a substantial head settling to a full collar, moderate lace early on. Coffee and sugar on the nose, lots of caramel, too. Some cream knees on the palate. Lots of coffee and sugar to taste. Pretty much a two-dimensional beer. Will likely bee too heavy on the sugar for most folks, but certainly workable as a dessert beer, drinks like a mocha because of the creaminess. Takes on a more bitter finish as it warms up and airs out. Interesting enough without being particularly complex.

Look: Pours a rich dark brown, with a two finger tawny head on an aggressive pour. After 5 minutes the head is still 1/4 finger of bubbles across the top of the glass.
Smell: Sweet coffee, with a very Ameretto like fragrance.
Taste: Slightly watery on the front end. The sugar and creme shine through in the middle with touches of vanilla. Hints of espresso and even a bit of raisin on the back end. As it warms it gets a bit syrupy and artificial.
Feel: Light medium body, with the silkiness' of creamy coffee being noticable.
Given the name, can art, and can colour scheme it's quite obvious this beer was modelled on the ubiquitous Tim Hortons double double. So much so I'm surprised Old Tomorrow hasn't been sued yet. For those non Canucks out there a Double Double is a two cream two sugar super sweet coffee purchased at one of the 4,000 Tim Hortons coffee shops that dot (or blot depending on your way of thinking) the Canadian landscape. The beer lives up to what it's trying to emulate. Not my favourite coffee or beer, but a good representation of a sweet, creamy coffee with lower bitterness. This earns a solid B.

473 mL can from the LCBO; best before July 21 2021 and served barely chilled.
Pours inky black, producing one finger of foamy, dark tan-coloured head that disintegrates within ninety seconds or so. A modest amount of stringy lace is flung about in the process, which also leaves behind a frothy collar; looks fine to me. The nose is a little on the sweet side, with notes of vanilla, cream, caramelized sugars and milk chocolate coming through alongside a decent coffee & espresso kick; there's also a few hints of dark chocolate and roasted grains.
The tastes follows the aroma - quite saccharine right from the start, with caramelized malts and lactose coming through alongside double-double coffee and subtle accents of espresso. Milk chocolate at the finish, lingering into a sweet aftertaste with suggestions of vanilla and cream. Medium in body, with low carbonation levels that gently brush against the surface of the palate; feels smooth and satisfying on the tongue. No sign of the 6.5%, but it's a little too sugary, so I'd have to pass on another round.
Final Grade: 3.59, a B grade. I usually love coffee stouts, but Old Tomorrow's Double Up was just too sweet for me to really get into. This is a decent, serviceable beer that unfortunately happens to be nearly the exact opposite of what I want from the style: I love that ground coffee bitterness that you get from most coffee stouts, and this has almost none of that whatsoever, while also going overboard with the lactose sweetness. In short, it's not my thing - but don't let that discourage you from giving it a try, especially if you take your coffee as a double double (or sweeter).

473 ml can served fairly cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for under $4 CDN.
Appearance - Very dark brown and nearly black in color. Big two finger tan head that recedes quickly for the size of the head, but it still takes a while.
Smell - Lots of coffee, hints of mocha, smells like one of the better powdered mixes for flavored coffee. Excellent intensity.
Taste - Lots of coffee and espresso, some sweetness due to being a milk stout and comes out like a well crafted mocha. Really quite yummy. Bitterness held in check, but it's there too.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and creamy, good carbonation- medium-heavy bodied and velvety texture.
Overall - In the right mood this is a star as it's not too bitter, drinks like a specialty coffee dessert. If you're not feeling that it may comes across as a touch artificial, but regardless a good beer here.

Ok fine I’ll bite if only for the goofy can art of coffee beans and a cuppa. Poured into a pint this one offers coal black body with coffee cream collar but doesn't last. Nose is as expected coffee front and center with burnt cream finish. Taste is again coffee forward with cream. Body is think however with little finish. A cutesy beer here that would work for dessert, lattes in the afternoon or cookies.
