At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a stein. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. My third beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery, and second for 2025. With Gracie the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; best before Jun 6 2026 and served slightly chilled.

Pours a foggy medium golden colour, topped with two fingers of creamy, foamy white head that fades gradually over the next several minutes. A serpentine ring of lace clings to the glass afterwards, with a dense collar and filmy cap retained atop - looks good to me. Strawberry candy & jam on the nose, with hints of grainy, doughy malts. Not bad: the strawberry doesn't seem a hundred percent authentic, but it at least passes the smell test, giving off a strawberry shortcake-esque vibe.

Very strawberry-centric flavour profile - and again, there are clearly flavourings involved here, but it's convincing enough that I can suspend my disbelief, at least for a single glass. Strawberry jam at the forefront; sweet and a little tart, with doughy malts and strawberry shortcake by mid-sip. More of a sugary strawberry candy feel late in the sip, akin to a strawberry daiquiri Jelly Belly. Medium in body, with moderately low carbonation that adds some spritz to this brew's smooth, juicy mouthfeel. Good drinkability, but one is enough for me.

Final Grade: 3.33, a passable B-. We're Jammin' definitely isn't the worst strawberry beer I've ever had, but it's not one of the better ones, either. I will point out that this is significantly better than Tomorrow's (possibly retired) Strawberries & Cream Ale - and on a hot summer night, I could see why some people might be inclined to appreciate this brew more than I did. Needless to say, Jammin' isn't a brew that I expect to be drinking again... but if you're desperately seeking out a strawberry beer, it's at least worth taking a flyer on.
