Appearance:
Pours up to a thin quickly dying head and Hazy straw color with a good amount of fizz.
Aroma:
Fresh cucumbers and a clean, balanced Saison base. There is a sulfury note that takes some acclimation at first.
Flavor:
Crisp, fresh, sparkling cucumber water infused with the clean, mild and balanced Saison flavors. Low end of the funk scale on the yeast characteristics. Lets the Cukes shine through.
Mouthfeel:
Very light and easy on the tongue. No astringency, Mid-high carbonation. This beer feels thirst quenching like a light lager or a cold sparkling mineral water except with the added hydrating benefit of the cucumbers. I literally felt te and comforting and hydrating coolness cascade down my neck and into my shoulders.
Overall:
This would be my ideal drink at the end of a hot summer day. It is a health tonic, hydration, relaxation and cooling all in one. Elk Valley makes other similarly infused beers with melons and such that are similar. The only catch is that you must really like the taste of cucumbers, melons, etc, otherwise this beer my bother you.

From a can into a pint glass. Pours a transparent straw color with good carbonation but no head. Nose of grain and cucumber. Taste is cucumber, wheat malt, and a semi-sweet white wine like finish. High carbonation and medium body with a clean finish.
The cucumber shines through and provides a nice refreshing aspect. Good enough summer beer that is kinda strange. Cucumber is normally used to balance out peppers but on it's own it's an unusual beer.

Pours a hazed straw color with 2 fingers of beige head. Stays murked up, near zero lacing & head retention
S: Grassy, pears, cucumber shows late
T: Plenty of cucumber, slight Golden Delicious apple hints up front, dryness as well. More cucumber as this warms, slight yeasty notes as well, some dryness. Finishes crisp, semi-dry with plenty of cucumber
MF: Medium body, crisp carbonation
Bloody drinkable! As good as any Cucumber Saison that I've tried. A beer made for this time of year and the lovely heat we get in these parts!
