This is an awesome beer!! I hope that they make another batch of this!! Very smooth and the high ABV is well concealed by the sweetness. Great for sipping. This is one that I would buy anytime they produced it. You will not be disappointed if you get the opportunity to taste this beer.

The only place this beer may be purchased is at Mackinaw Trail Brewery. It is sold in 750 ml bottles. I won't beat around the bush - this is the best bourbon barrel aged imperial stout I have ever had! All the usual notes of bourbon, caramel and slight vanilla are there. But I also get a lot of chocolate and I really dig that. This is a very special beer.
They only bottled two barrels worth in the fall of 2014. I don't know how much more of this batch they have left and I don't know if they will produce any more in the future. They are crazy if they don't. This beer rocks and is worth a special trip to procure.
