Clear orange-gold (straw) in color, topped with a very pale tan head. Carbonation appears to be about right, with small bubbles slowly rising to the top.
Berry/raspberry on the nose is prominent, with a bit of underlying base malt character, but nothing much in the way of a hop profile. Otherwise it’s rather neutral, with no off-character notes.
Semi-sweet and semi-tangy on the first sip, with the fruit character dominating. Carbonation is light / lightly scrubbing in the palate. Wheat malt notes are much as they should be. Minimal bitterness (the can reads: 24 IBU and 4.9% ABV).
Overall this one is better than I’d expected, but is only average for the style. But even being only average for the style it’s an easy drinker and sure to please those who prefer easy drinking fruit beers.
Still, with the brewery being sold, I’m unsure whether this brand (and its circa 1990s Microbrew era label) will make a comeback.
Note: The can in which this was packaged has no date code, but this tastes remarkably fresh.

Pours a cloudy pinkish orange with a full head of small white bubbles. Head recedes quickly leaving minimal lacing. Aroma is bready malt with a faint raspberry jam touch. Flavor follows the nose, sweet with no hop bitterness to round things out. Feel is medium to light body with low carbonation. Overall an okay beer to quench a lawn mowing thirst.

Look: cloudy, orange, small head, little lacing. Aroma: fruit forward to the extent that there is no real beer quality to it. Taste: raspberry juice. Finish: sweet and sticky. Mouthfeel: medium bodied, low carbonation. Comments: another wine cooler masquerading as a beer. It's about as one dimensional and simple as a beverage can be. The packaging leaves a lot to be desired too. The artwork on the can looks like it came straight out of a children's coloring book.

Tap pour at Lone Oak Grill, Eagan MN. Lone Oak lists this beer with a 5.2%ABV, and describes it as an American Wheat Beer.
Murky (unfiltered) orange gold colored body. Small white head. Very little lacing.
Aroma is subtle, but expresses the wheat ingredient (slightly sharp), and the raspberry.
Taste is straight wheat ale with raspberry flavors, which range from slightly sweet to slightly tart.
Smooth, medium mouth feel. Okay carbonation. No bitterness.
Very refreshing fruit nuanced wheat ale, easy to drink. Not a beer with lots of aroma or strong flavors, but very good for a hot afternoon.
