Cloudy pink-orange color. The head was a pale pink. The head took a minute to drop down to a patch skiff, leaving no lacing. Could not see any carbonation level.
Strong citrus scent, either lemon or grapefruit, with some light berry fruit and something like powdered sugar. Swirling the glass added a light sour funk to the mix. The lemon was very strong after the funk had faded.
Medium tart with both raspberry and lemon showing strongest. Mild malt, yeast, and just a hint of funk. The aftertaste is all of the previous flavors slowly fading out and a light hoppy bitter shows up for a moment.
Tongue tingling as it slowly foams up to ever expanding bubbles. Light astringency. The lemon has a cleansing feel.
Has more of a beer presence than the Black Currant Ginger Sour, even though the fruit is much stronger. Something like a stronger radler. Very refreshing.
