Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. No date on can, but I picked it up at the brewery in Abbotsford just a few weeks ago.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a little dash of haze and a thin layer of frothy tan foam that dissipates kinda quickly.
Smell: lightly sweet malt with a slightly fruity yeast character. There's also a very light yeasty "spiciness" (for lack of a better term). I like it, but I don't love it.
Taste: malt is a bit sweeter, and there's less yeast character than in the aroma, though some of that fruitiness remains. Bitterness is balanced for a pale lager. Not too bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and kind of a surprisingly nice creaminess!
Overall: a decent lager. I could see drinking a couple on a sunny day, although it's a bit sweet for my taste (for a lager) to drink these all day.
