8oz glass at Beer Revolution.
This beer appears a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with one finger of weakly puffy, finely foamy, and bubbly bone-white head, which leaves a few instances of ocean plume lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.
It smells of musky and floral herbal tea, grainy wheat malt, further breakfast cereal notes, indistinct earthy spice, muddled domestic citrus rind, and a weak weedy, leafy, and gently perfumed floral green hoppiness. The taste is bready and doughy pale malt, a lesser wheaten graininess, musky and meaty tea, clove/coriander spice, dried orange and lemon peel, and more well understated leafy, weedy, and dead floral verdant hops.
The carbonation is adequate in its palate-assuring frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, with just a touch of yeast intransigence mucking about here. It finishes off-dry, but trending towards the latter, as the tea, spice, and gritty malt close up shop.
Overall, this is an interesting and approachable Saison, one flavoured with something that has sat in my tea drawer, untouched for years, hoping that someone else will actually drink it. Maybe I should send it to these guys to make more of this, because this is all right. And I know a guy who knows a guy.

A: Hazy yellow green with one finger of white head.
S: Spice, matcha, citrus.
T: I am a bit biased because I enjoy matcha. But it is heavy on the matcha, with citrus and some spice.
M: Medium viscosity and carbonation.
O: I wouldn't say that matcha is a style-typical Belgian ingredient but I think this beer is fantastic.

6.9% ABV, 35 IBU - Pours a hazy golden colour with a thin white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving a nice lacing down the glass. The nose is very mild with hints of lemon, straw, very light malt and yeast. The Matcha steps forward on the taste, along with sweet malt, citrus hop and that grassiness you might expect in a saison. Definitely reminds me of a sweetened Matcha tea. The mouthfeel is in the medium range with a nice carbonation that gives it a nice crispness. I really enjoyed this beer.
