Insanely thick and robust stout brewed with chocolate, vanilla and hazelnut, rounded out with a blend of beans hand picked with Chicago’s Metric Coffee.

Had on tap. Black as the dark void with a light brown sudsy cap. Whole lot of hazelnut in the nose, strong coffee too, with accenting vanilla, chocolate and earth. Taste has the same stars with different ratios, still hazelnut's game, but now the coffee and chocolate have gained more traction. Potent and you can tell it is decently boozy but can't taste the booze. Feel is roasted, nutty, slightly sweet, thick, smooth, and full. Another winner from the cuppa series

16oz tall boy can; canned on 10/02/19.
poured into crooked stave snifter.
Appearance: Dark black bodied stout with thin cap of medium brown colored head.
Smell: Hazelnuts with vanilla coffee creamer. Aroma is sweet and balanced. Can't wait to taste this stout smells incredible.
Taste: Hazelnut bomb. The hazelnuts are authentic and just massive without overdoing it. Hint of vanilla in the middle of the drink. Coffee finish; like fresh medium roast coffee that has low bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied stout. low carbonation levels. Very smooth without a hint of booze.
Overall: This is easily the best non-barrel aged Cuppa series stout that I have tried so far. Also possibly the best hazelnut stout that I have ever had. Maplewood is just killing it with this stout series.

Canned 10/2/19; drank 10/6/19 @ the Yarchives.
Midnight black appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big dark tan head; thick lace.
Light roast coffee bean, cream, hazelnut & faint raspberry notes in the nose.
Creamy, medium thick mouthfeel.
Light roast coffee bean, coconut & mild hazelnut flavors. No booze heat.
An excellent coffee stout! I'd have another.

Fantastic! Not over the top Hazelnuts but def the flavor that stands out. The chocolate and vanilla compliments well and coffee is subtle. Delicious brew.
