16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, guava and caramel. Great tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Rating a year old can, and I’m really enjoying it. Kind of clear, kind of hazy. Dank, weedy, citrusy scents. Bitter, slightly juicy and citrusy tasting. Medium bodied, slightly mouth watering, boozy. The last can ended up on the left side of the beer fridge (which is where beers seem to go to die), but this one hung on and had quite a bit of life left in it.

16oz tall boy can; canned date 4/7/20.
poured into SP wine stem/ballon glass.
Appearance: Hazy dull golden straw orange / yellow body with bone white head that pours and lasts a long time. Head leaves thick lacing behind.
Smell: juicy citrus, mango, and papaya.
Taste: Juicy hops with balanced low bitterness levels. Tropical fruits galore... "Overripe" mango and papaya; pineapple orange juice. Bready malt with a hint of honey. Light dank finish with a lingering melon rind note mixing into the finish.
Mouthfeel: a full medium bodied beer with low moderate carbonation levels. Creamy body. Dialed in carbonation. No booze. Nothing harsh about this at all.
Overall: My first DDH hazy DIPA from Maplewood. I fully approve what Maplewood has going here! It very well done. Reminds me of the early days of Pipeworks Hazy stuff (those first runs of the fish series bombers). It also screams Trillium to me as well. Basically its top tier East Coast hazy done very well by Maplewood. Glad that I got to sample a single can of this... it has overly exceeded my expectations.

Canned 4/7/20; drank 4/17/20 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big bright white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Wheat, orange citrus & grass notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Orange peel, dry grass & mild baking soda flavors.
This looks the part of a NE IPA but is average in execution. Not one I'll return to.
