Brewed with the 100% German grown Pilsner malt and hopped lightly with Slovenian grown hops; Styrian Golding and the slightly fruitier Styrian Wolf. This beer should be slammed. Responsibly.

Very clear, polished gold capped with 2 fingers of white head that slowly recedes due to the constant replenishment from the massive carb release (no nucleation site required.)
Malty nose with some woodiness and maybe a touch of noble hops filling things out nicely.
Taste follows the nose.
Light bodied making it very refreshing.
Sure it's situational but perfect for a hot day.

A slightly foggy straw color that pours with a moderate marshmallow head. Nice lacing and an aroma of lemony hay. Lemons and grass up front, pepper and a hoppy snap on the back end.

Canned 8/25/21; drank 9/30/21 @ the Yarchives.
See-through pale yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE bright white head (careful pouring!); a thick curtain of frothy, tree-rung lace.
Lemon, fresh wheat & roasted corn notes in the nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Fresh bread, lemon & roasted corn flavors; easy to drink but flavorful.
I'd have another!

Bright pale gold, high clarity, compact layer of foam with a collar of delicate lacing, thin broken surface skim. Mild aroma, vague hoppiness and lager yeast. Green hoppy flavor, light crackery malt, lemony, crisp and clean, lingering dandelion green bitterness. Light bodied with a crispy texture and ample carbonation. Overall this is a snappy little hoppy lager.

Tasted in a Spiegelau lager glass from a one pint can on October 26, 2020. This is an absolutely wonderful Kellerbier. I wish more breweries would get off the hazy train and brew traditional styles like this.

16 oz tall boy poured into HF wine stem
Appearance: Light pale yellow body with bone white head. The head stacks up three fingers tall and is creamy, dense, and frothy. Varying bubble sizes from large one and to compact bubbles all interwoven together. Lacing all over the glass. great looking beer.
Smell: bready malt, fruity yeast, and some light hops fruity & floral hops.
Taste: dough & biscuity malt that is lightly sweet with a hint of lager yeast. lightly fruity & floral hops that finish with a nice lingering bitterness.
Mouthfeel: light bodied with moderate carbonation levels. Clean and crispy. very nice!
Overall: I really dig Maplewood for the lager game they have! This is one of the better American make Kellerbier's that I have had and I like that they made it more hop assertive without taking away from the malt backbone of a good Kellerbier. I prefer the malts to be the shining star, but this is a good change up even though it is not very traditional for the style.
