16oz can served in a SIP Fest 2020 snulip. Brother in law brought it over to share.
Pours hazy reddish amber with no head. Smell is funk, spice, plum or raisin.
Taste is very fruity -- apricot and nectarine. Slight tartness, funkiness. Maybe there is a very subtle metallic hint?
Mouthfeel is medium bodied but dry. Overall, good beer.

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery.
Appearance: medium gold with a dash of haze and a thin layer of white foam. Not bad!
Smell: sweet and phenolic; not too bad for a strong ale if you're into that sort of thing.
Taste: just like the aroma, it's sweet and phenolic. Beyond that, not super complex, but nice for the style.
Mouthfeel: rich body with a good carbonation and creaminess. I like it.
Overall: not bad, but the phenolic element is a bit strong.
