L; Pours a golden yellow. Two fingers of head which quickly dissipates. Did not leave much lacing.
S: Next to no saison smell. A bit earthy, grassy.
T: Quite tart. Refreshing on a hot day. A grassy, earthy after taste that I can't quite describe.
F: Highly carbonated, crisp, medium to light bodied.

I was very impressed. One of the best examples of the style I have ever tried. Would love to get my hands on some more.

On tap @theCorner in Litchfield Center. Winter Field Beer with oats same as Batch #1, but with addition of Brewer's House Souring Culture. Absolutely delicious, like Batch #1. But I am not detecting a huge sour note. To be honest, it's not much different than the level of sourness of Batch #1. I am not a huge fan of sour beers, and figured I'd be able to pick up a more pronounced sourness with this version, but I don't. I will have to get my hands on a bottle and sample side by side with a bottle Batch #1.
