Before our brewery even opened we set out to establish a one acre hop yard on our farm. Each year we have a harvest festival where we invite community members to help pick our hops as we brew a harvest ale-mixed fermentation table beer with the wet hops right off of the bine. The result is a well balanced table beer with both funk and a pleasing acidity that can develop over time.

2018 Harvest. Clear & golden in color with an inch + of fizzy white head that recedes to a consistent 1/8 inch cap. Aroma is grassy, lemony funk. Taste is lots of barnyard funk. Lightly tart & refreshing. Crisp & lively.

500 mL bottle. Hazy orange. Herbal and grassy aroma. Hoppy and acidic. Tastes herbal too. Very grassy up front. Pretty tart and yeasty in the finish. Light body. The grassy flavor is very strong and a little bit of a detractor.

Pours a clear straw yellow with a thin cap of head, effervescent. Aroma of citrus, perhaps a bit lemony. Taste very salty with a relatively dry finish. Refreshing.

On tap at The Beer Belly in Albany, NY.
This one pours a orangish amber color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells like citrusy grapefruit, basement funk, earthy tea, and lemon.
This is really tasty and gets me excited to try some more from this brewery. It's pretty funky and hoppy, with some leathery funk, some earthy tea like funk, and some big earthy grassy hoppiness. Awesome stuff.
This is medium bodied, but light on the palate, with a good level of carbonation.
This is real good stuff.
