On tap.
Nice red-orange with white head. Floral citrusy aroma, with some farmhouse yeast. Nice tart taste, a little sweet berry fruit and some herbal, floral tones present. Dry feel with a light smooth grainy malt base. Very tasty!

L: The appearance on this beer is simply beautiful. Pours a cloudy dark pink-purple, with a pinkish tight-knit head and good foam retention. There’s almost an incandescent appearance to this beer.
S: Very floral with some musty brett and classic saison notes of hay, pepper and a hearty dose of yeast. Nice flower and mild citrus notes, with hibiscus syrup becoming more prevalent as the beer warms.
T: Even more floral than on the nose, lots of hibiscus comes through and the beer finishes cleaner than the aroma would let on. There’s a strawberry/plum-like fruitiness, a nice mild tartness with a Belgian brett character that adds some complexity but really takes a backseat role in this beer. Only semi-dry, with enough malt presence to really bring out the hibiscus.
F: Medium body with under medium yet but adequate carbonation. Leaves a substantial slickness on the palate in between sips.
Thoughts: Really solid and unique beer and a great example of a successful beer with flowers added. With its restrained tartness and relative funk/yeast-free flavor, you can tell that this was very well thought out and executed.

Light summertime saison. Jester king-esque funk on the nose at first. Maybe i dont like hibiscus that much, but im not huge on the herbal taste. Overall all it is as described, somewhat thin however and weak on the palate. Easy drinking

500 mL bottle. Bright pink body. Pretty. Smells of all hibiscus. Flowery and green. Tastes of equally strong hibiscus. Light tartness. A bit of flowery sweetness. And then green and vegetal plant flavors. Light body. Medium carbonation. Too much hibiscus, I think.
