This beer comes from the soul of our brewery. Each batch will have a rotation of adjunct grains (raw, malted, whatever we are able to get our hands on) alongside locally grown and malted barley from our friends at Valley Malt which contributes a beautiful clover and honey note behind the floral, fruity and lightly resinous hop character. Both of the hops in this beer, Michigan Copper and Bitter Gold are varieties we have planted on our farm and are chosen for the distinct flavor profiles they offer us as brewers which we believe leads to economic viability for farmers. This will never be an “estate” beer but rather a vision and celebration of a beer whose ideals are cultivated, ingredients grown, and flavors produced by a community.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving some lacing on the surface and clinging to the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of cherries and fruit punch are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and mostly has delicate flavors of cherries and fruit punch along with underlying notes of spelt. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and slightly juicy on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The hop aromas and flavors in this beer seem to be a little muted compared to other New England IPAs, but they are unique and it goes down very easily.

Canned on 5/13/19
Pours a totally hazy deep gold capped with a dense, fluffy white head; great retention eventually leaves some thin layering of soapy lacing with solid longevity around the glass, along with a fair-sized, foamy collar.
Aromas of ultra creamy mango and some tropical orange upfront, moving toward light pine before fading to dank eucalyptus and overwhelmingly earthy tones that come to dominate the remainder of the inhale.
Taste brings overripe pineapple with a light dankness and vague tropical medley first, eventually transitioning completely to herbaceous notes of wilted mint, pine, and mildly astringent eucalyptus; lightest flaky malt presence and a heavily herbal finish.
Mouthfeel holds an extremely clean, balanced medium body and lightly noticeable carbonation; slightly juicy, but dries a bit from the mid-palate onward alongside a very mild hop prickle; borderline nonexistent but still ambiguous bitterness on the swallow.
This one opens strongly and invites some truly interesting herbal/earthy elements to the fold before losing its way to a one-dimensionality; finishing impressions just leave things a bit too unbalanced toward herbaceousness for my taste.

A great NEIPA with some gorgeous heft. Not too dusty in the body and has a beautiful malt structure that makes this more than just a juicy showboat. A more unique entrant in the Kent Falls IPA line.

a bit bitter for my taste but fans of alpha acid will enjoy
(UPDATE 2/12/19) having it out of a burgundy glass, much more integrated, perhaps needed more time in can, rating raised, beautiful head, dried stone fruit/pistachio, still tangy

On tap at 2 Bros. Pours a hazy burnt yellow with 2 inches of frothy head. Lots of lacing. Light aroma of pineapple, tangerine and citrus peel. The taste is citrus peel along with floral and herbal hops. Pineapple and tangerine towards the end with bread crusts and a floral hop finish. Medium body with lots of carbonation and a slightly dry mouthfeel. Very little alcohol heat.
