Unfiltered Czech-Style Pilsner brewed with Czech Saaz hops
As we continue to explore brewing lager biers, we strive to develop the perfect pils. This beer is the maturation of a more traditional Czech profile reflecting a deeper body and Czech hops.

Poured from a pint can into a Willi Becher style glass. White two finger head with excellent lacing as the beer is consumed. The body of the beer is slightly cloudy, muted yellow in color. A bit yeasty on the nose, with mild hop notes. The first sip has some malt flavor, from the Endeavor barley malt grown in the Northeast grain shed, followed by some spicy hops flavor that finishes with a strong wash of the tongue. Kent Falls always has intriguing, mostly low abv beers (this one is 5%), and this is one of them.

A: The beer is slightly hazy light yellow in color and has a a light amount of visible carbonation.
S: Light aromas of bready and cracker-like malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, but the malty flavors are a touch stronger and there are some hints of soapiness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer seems to be a little lighter in body compared to other beers in the style, but the hints of soapiness in the taste were a little detracting from its drinkability.

Poured to a Weizen from a 16 oz can dated 5/6/19.
Pours yellow/orange with quite a bit of haze, but you can still see impressive Pilsener-esc carbonation rising nonstop.
Aroma is a lesson in Saaz, cut grass, pepper, mild lemon.
The taste is not as Saazy, but delivers a great experience. Not a hint of Diacetyl sometimes associated with the style, but this is a pretty hop forward beer. Carbonation is on spot. Finish is slightly sweet before hop dry-mouth.
Brewer calls this "Czech-Pilsener Inspired". I can see that in certain moods I would prefer this to the classic version.

A: Pours a clear pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a large patch of slightly mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Just shy of moderate aromas of bready + pale + cracker + grainy malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness underneath moderate aromas of earthy + spicy + floral + herbal hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of bready + pale + cracker + grainy malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of minerally yeast. Finally there is a light flavor of earthy + spicy + floral + herbal hops which impart a light amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol, refreshing, and sessionable. Enjoyable with a nice hoppy aroma upfront (although classic pilsner style hops).

Minor head which leaves some minute bubbles. The liquid is cloudy and very pale, closest to straw with a light green hue.
The hop is forward with the pale malt in the background, a bit upside down for a pilsner, but delicious.
Soft, malty beginning with a subtle richness. The carbonation is high, even for a pilsner, but the heavier body makes this okay. More bitingly bitter hop than I'm used to for the style. It brings the flavor closer to an APA. Overall, I like this beer but it departs from the traditional flavors from a Pilsner.

Canned on 1/21/19
Pours a slightly cloudy dulled gold topped with a few fingers of persistent, soft, off-white foam; great retention results in a hefty coating of lacing and a thick cap on the surface.
Aromas of dense, skunky hay balanced excellently with lightly bittering herbal hops, grainy spice, earthy sweetness, bits of barnyard, and some building vegetal tones as it finishes.
Tastes of crisp straw, light notes of herbal hops, lemon zest, and barnyard skunk; simply done, but very clean and executed with an easy nuance.
Mouthfeel brings a lighter body and excellently balanced, fluffy but crisp carbonation; slight hoppy grit and some earthy, malty tones come together for a light, crackery finish that thins just a but earlier than expected.
Balances elements of nuance and simplicity extremely well, showing plenty of diversity in its profile while continuously inviting further curious sips; I'm thinking only some minor lacking in refinement is what holds this back from becoming a top-level Bohemian pilsner. Enjoyable all-around.

Slow pour on tap at Delaware Supply in Albany, NY.
This one pours a nice beautiful clear yellow, with a white meringue head just flopped right down on top, and a lot of lacing.
This smells like floral and herbal hops, with a bit of minerally yeast, and light crackery malt.
This is very light bodied and very clean, with a slight lingering bitterness, and a great level of drinkability.
Kent Falls quietly has a really solid lager game going.
