Poured cold into Belgian tulip glass part of a 4 mix pack
Dark red caramel color. Off white head ends up as white ring after a few minutes.
Yeast and cereals. Honey and apples.
Tastes of cereal, apple esters, caramel sweetness and Belgian yeast. Subtle hops.
Fine bubbly carbonation, easy to drink. Not too sweet. No alcohol burn. Perhaps a bit on the watery side.
An interesting mix of english red ale (St-Ambroise red ale) and a belgian abbey blond.

Mons Abbey Rousse from Brasserie Belgh Brasse Quebec Canada, bought a 12 mix pack for 21,99$.
Look: Red/brown color. No head.
Smell: Honey, caramel, and a touch of strawberry, that's a pleasant smell.
Taste: Malt, honey and caramel, the strawberry is on the aftertaste, but this is faded away by the carbonation. This beer is way over carbonated.
Feel: Disapointed, the carbonation is way too present, and makes the flavor goes way.
So overall would I recommend it ? No, for the price is it way to expensive for what it is. Even the Rickard's Red for exemple is much better for the price.

Belgian style Quebec brewed beer. Deep bronze color with generous cream topping; dissipates quickly. It's a nice overall beer with malt characteristics and somewhat acid taste. Doesn't *seem* to pull together and put over the top. There are better beers from Quebec but worth a try.

Appearance: Dark copper, 1in beige head that lasted about 5 minutes. Goes away with little to no lacing.
Smell: Warm runny honey, strawberry, malt, yeast and caramel.
Taste: Honey, malt and yeast.
Feel: The sweetness of honey is balanced by the bitterness. Sweetness does come out after a couple seconds.
Overall: If I were to drink beer with breakfast, this would be it. Or with dessert. The sweetness is a bit heavy on its own (for me).

Appearance: It has a brownish copper color to it. It has a nice creamy off-white head that dies down moderately and leaves very little lacing.
Smell: The aromas give out hints of Belgian yeast, some dark fruit, caramel/honey and grainy malts.
Taste: Like the aromas, it has some yeast, light dark fruit, sweet caramel/honey and a bunch of gainy malts.
Mouthfeel: It has a med/high carbonation with a light overall balance and feel.
Drinkability: It's a smooth drinkable beer accompanied by decent flavors and aromas. Not something I would try again.

Bottle: Poured a clear color brown ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of grainy Belgian malt with light sweet notes is not the most exciting. Taste is also dominated by light sweet notes with some grainy malt and light cereal aftertaste. Body is light for style with good carbonation. Overall, this beer lacked complexity and the grainy malt notes were really not interesting.
