Poured from 330mL bottle into my Higgins Ale Works tulip. Best by 7/3/26.
Appearance: rich amber-orange hue with moderate haze and a thick finger of frothy light-tan foam atop.
Smell: moderatley sweet malt with a bit of breadiness, with a kind of dry, earthy, herbal character. It’s not quite my thing, but otherwise it’s not too bad.
Taste: toasty and bready malt base, with some herbal top notes. I couldn’t identify any specific herb, though, in the mélange. Bitterness is moderate; it’s kind of light a slightly bitter amber. Like the aroma, not really my thing, but decent.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a nice creaminess.
Overall: it’s basically a lightly-herbed amber. Not bad, but nothing really jumps out at me as anything particularly unique.
