22oz bottle served in a large snifter. 081116 is printed on the side of the label.
Pours black with a small head that fades very slowly. Lots of carbonation. Smell is yeasty, roasty, anise, coffee.
Taste is roasty, sweet anise, something a little creamy about it. Definitely coffee.
Mouthfeel is smooth, fairly light. Overall, not a bad porter.

Very good porter. The best local Tacoma porter I've tasted.
Appearance is a dark black with mild red hue. Smell is of brewed coffee, with a toasted finish. Taste is upfront coffee and caco with a mild roastiness. Dry finish that is very satisfying.
Overall a wonderful porter. Look forward to enjoying this frequently.
