Another wonderful surprise bought at Die Bierothek Munchen.
A golden, medium haze with lasting foam. Smells are simple citrus hops backed by a bit of malt.
Tastes are the same, totally refreshing... but cloys a bit in the after-taste. Otherwise, does my mouth fine.
My first from Bierol (who only distributes in Europe), so I went on their website. Just down from the Austrian Alps/Innsbruck and less than 50 miles from Munich you will find a dedicated brewer since 2004. The problem is their website has no English button I could find and I am binging on brewers I've never tried. Let me know when I can read your story. Danke.

On tap in Rome. White head. Golden sunset color.
A bit light for what they had labeled as a NE IPA. A lot of soft fruits and grassy hops. Fresh hop flavors. Not very bitter. Okay beer.

Brewery Bierol "The Padawan"
330 ml brown glass bottle, "Mindestens haltbar bis: 10.03.2018 000223"
4,90€ @ Zipfer Bierhaus, Salzburg, AT on 23.09.2017
Notes: Brewed with Pilsner, wheat, and cara. Magnum, Mosaic, Citra. This is named after a word from "Star Wars", right? Nice label, very classy. Hazy brass colored body beneath a full head of pillowy white. Head retention and lacing are average. The aroma is citrusy and tropical (orange, mango, berries, peach) over a bready malt base. I could use more hops in the nose but I can't complain, they're OK, and they come through clearly in the flavor. A median bitterness balances it and it finishes dry. Medium bodied and gently crisp. A decent APA. Very hoppy - the hoppiest beer I've had from Austria by far.

Dark amber colour with a few sediments on the bottom and light head.
A nice pale ale with some citrus aromas in and a fresh feel.

Medium haze, dark golden color, white head. Aroma has candied oranges, citrusy hops and some grainy malts in the background. Taste follows, a bit sweet and grainy but also quite hoppy and citrusy. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. Overall it's a decent pale ale.
