Bottle: Poured a clear bright golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of smoked malt with some light dry caramel malt is actually quite enticing. Taste is a nice mix between some smoked malt notes with some dry caramel malt. Smoked level is actually more dominant than expected and similar in style to the German smoked malt. Body is about average with oily texture and medium carbonation. Well balanced with nice complexity due to smoked malt.
