I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: almost totally black with just some muddy brown highlights around the edges. Head is a finger of creamy tan foam with excellent retention and leaving tons of lace on the glass. Outstanding.
Smell: dryish, roasty aroma; quite reminiscent of a dry Irish stout to me. Not bad at all.
Taste: roasty and a little sweet, but with enough char to give the illusion of dryness. Not complex, but totally serviceable.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: as I said, it's a perfectly serviceable stout, though not one that blows me away. Its appearance is beautiful, however.

On tap at Waddell's Brew Pub. Pours a very dark brown, near black, with a nice tan head. The aroma isn't pronounced, but some dark roasted grain and faint coffee. The coffee taste is more pronounced with the addition of some hints of chocolate. A pretty decent local offering.

From notes. 4oz (or so) sample from a taster tray at the brewery.
Dark, dark brown, virtually black color, with tan head. Lots of lace.
Big, bitter dark roasted malt flavor. The aroma reminded me of coffee and cocoa, with emphasis on the coffee.
Classic stout flavors of coffeeish bitterness and mollassesey, cocoaish sweetness, with a little bit of a hoppy zap at the swallow.
The body seemed thin for the style. Watery mouthfeel.
Good flavor for the style, but too thin to become a favorite stout. With some work it could be outstanding.
