From notes. Pint consumed at the brewery. I didn't drink this as part of a sampler tray because I'd had it before at their South Hill location on several occasions.
Chill-hazed copper-amber color. Off-white colored head, with lots of lace.
Citrusy, piney, spicy hop aroma, in pretty much that order. Smelled like the current standard of PNW IPAs.
Grapefruity taste, backed up by pineyness and a bit of peppery spices. Modest malt backbone, finished "dank."
Medium bodied, with a big, resiny and oily moouthfeel.
The best of the beers I had at Wadell's, which is good since breweries today tend to need a good IPA as a flagship beer. I'd drink this again with no fear.
