From notes. 4oz (or so) pour as part of a taster tray at the brewery. Not sure if this was a one-off as listed, or a rotating option. The bartender called it an Old Ale, which fits the abv more than Brown Ale.
Dark, rubyish amber in color. Off white foam.
Sweet, malty aroma. Didn't get any noteworthy hop aroma.
Quite toffeeish in the taste. Alcohol didn't stand out in the portion I had but might stand out more with a whole pint's worth. Tasted good, but a bit one-dimensional.
Medium bodied, with a somewhat thin mouthfeel.
Sweet flavor, but not a terribly complex or interesting beer. A full serving might be a bit cloying.
