Very dark appearance with tan head that dissipates quickly. Nutty aroma. Taste is a smooth nice tasting nutty oatmeal that has some alcohol aftertaste that can be improved with aging.

2 ounce sample at Spokane Brewers Festival. Dark brown with a creamy, persistent tan head. Leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is dark roasted malts. Taste is dark roast with hints of chocolate and bourbon. Mouthfeel is creamy smooth.
