Pours a lightly hazy pale orange in color with a finger of white head. Aroma is hoppy with a crackery pils malt undertone. Taste follows the aroma and adds a lightly tropical note. Medium+ body with moderate carbonation. Overall this isn't a bad beer if being judged against its self assigned style of "gently hopped lager". My issue here is that the hopping isn't super gentle and totally overpowers much of the clean lager character.

This is a very darn good, and unique beer! Had this on tap at the brewery which is a treat to visit in a drop-dead gorgeous location. (See brewery website for pic). A friend of Eric, the brewmaster, told me that this beer is actually an IPL - a lager that has been hopped like an ale.
We recommend it highly!
