We teamed up with Four Star Farms in Northfield, MA to produce this single-estate beer that highlights the incredible taste of their hops. Hoppy Smalls is an aggressively hopped small beer featuring malt and Magnum, Sterling, Cascade, and Teamaker hops all grown less the 20 miles away from our brewery. This beer packs some really unique floral hop flavors into a tiny package, and we're already looking forward to next year's harvest. Come on in and pick up a growler before this limited release beer hops away until Spring!

I'm always skeptical about wasting calories and room in my belly on a lightweight beer, and this one is only 2.9% alcohol. But, it was given to me as a gift and far be it from me to refuse free alcohol.
Pours a very hazy pastel straw yellow. Overall, it smells better than it tastes, but it's sure interesting. Smell is of apricots and mango, and fairly light. Taste is very dry - the fruit flavor is minimal, like in a very dry pinot grigio wine. A hoppy bitterness stays with you on the back end into the finish, a hint too bitter for my taste. Still, at least it smells nice. Medium/thick body and good carbonation. Nice beer for the summer if you don't want to get the slightest bit drunk, but not tasty enough to want to drink recreationally.
