Very solid Helles. Always buy (and drink) when I’m in North Carolina.
Good food at the brewery as well.

I am trying a can of this beer at my bestie's house in Charlotte, NC. The beer poured a clear golden with no head and no lace. The scent had subtle grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base and good finishing hop flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Picked up as part of a mixed six pack for $10.98 from the Ingles cooler on Spartanburg Hwy in Flat Rock 8-27-21. Canned 8-2-21; consumed 11-10-21. Cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured orange with a nice white head. Odd color given the SRM is a lot lighter for classic examples.

Nose is nice, grainy and crackery with a touch of sweetness.

Taste is nicely done. Crackers and bread are the primary flavors from the malt base and is balanced nicely by adequate floral hopping.

Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.

Overall a nice example of the style!

12 oz can with a 3 August 2021 canning date stamped on the bottom and on tap 2 days ago in Saluda NC.
I didn't review this Helles lager because it seemed too malty and too dark to be the beer I ordered. Well, having bought and tried a canned version it's apparent that I was served the right beer. Perhaps not true to style, this bold and malty version is otherwise well above average.
Overall. If a bold and malt Helles sounds appealing this one is highly recommended.

Hounds of Helles pours out looking like a typical gold lager, nice white head is lingering and fading slowly into an even thin layer .
Slightly more aroma than a PBR, and more complex.
Tastes clean and fresh, real malt, no bullshit adjuncts, hopped cleanly and finishes perfectly. One of my favorite local lagers that I have frequently.

Their best seller at the awesome taproom in Waynesville, according to the owner/brewers.

Appears golden yellow with a nice white foamy head that lasted.
Smells bready and floral.
Taste follows the nose.
Mouth feel is medium light for the style with good carbonation.
Overall a nice Helles on the lighter side, very crushable, and one I would definitely drink again.

Looks good, smells too Belgian with some coriander, tastes a little coriander like, feels slightly sticky which isn’t the best representation of the style. Happy Fathers Day!

12 oz. can from 12 pack Stash box bought @Catamount store @WCU.

Look - Pours a deep honey gold, with a quick uniform airy head if you need it to.

Smell - Sweet grainy and fresh, inviting and near floral type farm aromas.

Taste - follows nose quite closely

Feel - refreshing and light and soft.

Overall - Good light, easy river beer. Their knockout punch to Bud, etc. It's on the sweeter, softer side of beer so be aware.
