12 oz can served in a Belgian snifter.
Pours with a clear pale amber body with a decent white head.
Overly dank aroma with some citrus and other tropical fruits.
The flavor is less dank and more grassy than the aroma suggests, and adds more tropical fruit notes.
Moderately bitter for style with lingering grapefruit peel in the aftertaste.
Feel: medium body with medium carbonation and a dry finish.

12 0z. can pour into IPA glass. Same area code as brewery, if that matters. It might. This has a blast of interesting aromas and flavors, and it's hoppy for sure.

Look - pale straw gold, slight haze, very generous airy head settles out fairly soon.

Smell - It's like someone chopped up a fresh greenhouse. I get different notes, more earthy/grassy/plant/garden vibes.

Taste - there is an underlying faint sweetness from somewhere, and a very large wheelbarrow of green hoppy flavors on top
A very unique profile.

Feel - crisp, lighter medium body, hangs on just right

overall - it's so weird that I like it enough to try it in the mix packs. For sure a quality brew, no doubt. If you like 80 or so IBU and IPA's that have a lot of greenery in it, try it!

American IPA brewed with Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra (can't go wrong with that!). Poured from a can into a New Belgium tulip. The pour is deep gold and mostly clear with a slight haze. Effervescent. 2-3 fingers of fine white head with good retention. On the nose I get citrus notes (lemon and grapefruit), some cigar box, and pine. Fresh linen too and a little fresh bread.

Medium body and firm feel. Sharp hoppy flavor. Fresh bread with lemon up front. Hops hit fast and don't let up. Lemon and cedar, then pine and hemp. Finishes very dry with strong lingering hop flavors. Overall a good IPA, but the hop flavors are a bit abrasive and seem sharp and over-extracted. The best IPAs are bitter, but somehow don't taste as bitter as they really are. This one does.

i am getting a ton of esters off of this, like its fermented with belgian yeast, pineapples and cotton candy and bubblegum and stuff, carnival notes for sure, but im not sure what they actually ferment this with, it just seems too warm, but not necessarily as a flaw with all these hops, brings out a different side of citra and mosaic, which always seem to taste the same and have brought the style down to a focused middle point with less room for deviation than there used to be. i dont love the new england thing, but i dont love ipa in a box either, so where does that leave us? this has some series fruitiness to it, not entirely hop derived either, a yeasty thing that happens to work, intentional or not. a little sweetness to the malt, a little confectioners sugar element to it, but it fits with the piney simcoe and the preserved lemon citra. good beer, no denying, but a little different and strange, my first from boojum, and truthfully a bit of a head scratcher, but the hops are fresh and good and very post fermentation, while the grain is substantial and the yeast has some serious influence. fun, good, curious.

If you like plastic this is your beer. Smells of great citrus hops but tastes like a shower curtain. I'd be embarrassed to put forth this beer to the public. 5 bucks wasted

Got this on the way to South Carolina for a Thanksgiving gathering at my wife's folks, Bought it at a gas station in the mountains of North Carolina. Very pleased with this. Great hop-front flavor. Hop heads should get this if they can.

A: Pours a hazy pale to medium yellow in color with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy white head that reduces to a large patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of tropical/mango, herbal, citrus/grapefruit, and resinous hops over the top of a light to moderate aroma of biscuit + cereal grain malts.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + cereal grain malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of tropical/mango, herbal, citrus/grapefruit, citrus/grapefruit pith, and resinous hops which impart a moderate amount of bitterness which lingers for a moderate amount of time.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially crisp with some slickness and a hint of dryness in the finish.

O: Enjoyable and very easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Really enjoyable hop profile.

Thanks, Jay!

Was lucky enough to receive this as part of a 10-beer package sent by Jay. Had never heard of the brewery or the beer, the description sounded taste - generously hopped with Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra… Count me in.

Poured a light yellow clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Bubble streams everywhere coming up from the bottom of the glass. Outstanding foamy spotty lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00)

Smelled healthy doses of Citra, trashy Mosaic, resin, sugary mango rind, herbal and leafy vegetables. (Smell - 4.00)

Taste followed the nose for the most part. Citra really dominated. Also got spicy Simcoe (did not get it in the nose), subdued Mosaic, bitter citrus rind, pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, herbal, weedy grass and sappy pine. Reminding me a lot of the sugary non-hazy East Coast IPAs. (Taste - 4.00)

Light body. Oily-to-sticky texture. Lively carbonation. Long, sugary citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.00)

Liked this one. May have underrated it just a tad. (Overall - 4.00)
