Picked up a 12 oz single from the Ingles cooler on Highland Lake Road on 11-30-23 for $2.00. Canned 8-23-23; consumed 4-2-23. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a chilled gold with a decent white head that dissipated quickly.
Nose is you guessed it, passionfruit and guava forward, pleasant for sure.
Taste is a light malt base inoculated with the lacto strain giving this a nice puckering. Tropical fruits enhance a sweet and sour effect.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and refreshing.
Overall i can see this being a nice summertime cooler for the hot humid days of late summer.

Nearly fully opaque tan-maize with a fuzzy off-white head settling to a thick, puffy collar.
Only a step or two away from the stuff of J. Wakefield, tart passion fruit and guava meet a mildly detectable biscuit malt backing before finishing powder dry.
A commendable effort.

Look: It pours golden and slightly hazy. Head retention is moderate.
Smell: The passionfruit and guava aromas are mixed with salt and uncooked sourdough bread.
Taste: The salt and uncooked sourdough are in the forefront with the guava and passionfruit supporting the presentation.
Feel: The finish is very much balanced towards the uncooked sourdough and is light sour and lightly sweet.
Overall, I would have liked it more if the guava and passionfruit was a bit more prominent in the flavors and finish, but it's good.
