Light & crisp with a pop of modern hop flavor & aroma, Hideout elevates the craft lager style with an extra helping of bright American & noble German hops. A focus on later hop additions creates low bitterness & maximum drinkability. Best to keep this gem stashed away with the rest of your valuables.

12 oz can from NC.
Appearance. Golden body that's clear but the clarity is not exceptional.
As promised, this is a hoppy pilsner. The very fruity aroma was unexpected but not unwelcome. Some tropical fruit notes appear in the flavor but, by and large, this has more trainable hop flavors as well as significant bready notes.

I am trying a can of this beer at my bestie's house in Charlotte, NC. It poured a clear golden with thin white ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had fresh hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base with fresh hop flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Drinking this at The Smokey Mountain Barbecue in scenic Murphy NC.
The barbecue was absolutely delicious.
On to the beer.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks golden clear yellow with a nice white foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin cap.
Smells spicy, floral, bready.
Taste follows the nose nicely with a little bite that begins to mellow as I drink it.
Mount feel is medium for the style, soft and smooth.
Overall a very nice example of a hoppy pilsener that I would definitely order again.
Cheers!

Draft Review 6-26-22
Enjoyed a pint for $5.00 while dining in with Da Boss 6-26-22.
Beer was served golden with a nice white head-4.0.
Nose was light crackers and white bread-3.75.
Taste was a cracker-bread light malt base spiced up with noble hops that lent a slightly peppery finish that balanced the malt base nicely-3.75.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and pretty refreshing-3.75.
Overall a decent German Pilsner-3.75.
Can review 7-4-22
Picked up a single from Ingle's cooler in Hendo as part of a mixed sixer for $2.00. Canned 4-5-22.
Beer poured gold with a nice white head with the original pour-4.0.
Nose has hints of west coast hop fruitiness-3.5
Taste is a decent crackery bready malt base hoped with citrusy hops for a balanced finish-3.5
Mouthfeel is light bodied but lacks the snappy carbonation that leads to a clean finish-3.5.
Overall Boojum cans generally are solid but this one is lacking the quality i would expect-3.5
I'll let the draft rating stand which is contrary to my norm.
