Blind Review
Look: Translucent and cloudy with a pale, pink grapefruit juice color around the edges and a little darker orangey-pink color in the middle. I assume there is some sort of fruit added to this beer. A red colored berry? A bone white head that leaves some specs of lacing. No visible carbonation.
Smell: When I first cracked the can and smelled it I thought lager. Then I saw the color and I didn’t know what to think. I assume there is fruit here so the smell seems like a citrus or berry acidity to me. Some rotten fruit. A little bit of sweet berry jamminess. I could still say lager. Getting some bready malt aroma.
Taste: The beer has fruit. There is some acidity. It could be a Gose with a low level of acidity, but I still think it’s a lager and the light acidity comes from fruit as opposed to bacteria. It’s got some bready malt sweetness I keep coming back to.
Feel: Light bodied, medium level of carbonation. Semi dry.
Overall: Something I could crush in the summer after mowing the lawn. A lager with fruit of some sort that seems like cherry to me.
