Pours a malty red with an impressive creamy cap of foam. If there is a Michigan style IPA then this falls into that category.
Piney, grapefruit forward nose, with a malty rich body and a modestly bitter finish.

Thanks to Whyteboar for this one.

Pours a deep amber in hue. A sandy head rises nearly 2 fingers and slowly retreats to a solid 1/2 inch of foam. Dman near solid curtain of lace clings to the glass.
Nose is pine resin, herbal spice, and a smidge of orange zest.
Flavor brings a little more of a smooth blend of the orange zest and pine. A mild, slightly peppery, herb nose finishes it off.
Slightly fuller side of medium for an IPA. More like a slightly hopped up red. Light on the carbonation, a tad slick, and a drying bitterness on the end
Overall, a pretty good beer but to me it comes off a little more like an American Red.
