32 oz growler into a uhh fancy glass? best thing they had at a bday bbq and i'm not picky.
this batch has citra instead of nelson.
looks awesome in the glass, hazy and dark yellow. nice 3 finger head.
aroma is fantastic, super dank. lots of pine notes, some mango and juicy fruits, definitly a west coast ipa
taste is super dank, lots of hops, can taste the citra and simcoe for sure. sting mango and a steady bitterness throughout. not overly bitter. good sweetness for an ipa
mouthfeel is well carbed, thick for 6.5%. heavy for an ipa, boarderline dipa thickness.
overall this is delicious, pairs perfectly with bbq and warriorsa. super dank and delicious. only problem is the price $13 for 32oz and i brought the glass

A: golden milky yellow. Very hazy.
S: Lots of citrus and fruits. Lemon Peel like crazy.
T: More piney, resiny than citrusy like on the nose. Balanced well though.
F: Nice thick chewy feel. Coats the mouth but finishes crisp. quite lovely.
O: Great use of hops, a really solid offering.

Never heard of these guys, but this is a fantastic IPA. Absolutely worth checking out... it's one of the best I've had. Can't wait to try more from them.

1/7/15 draft @ Ale Arsenal. Alpha Acid's first IPA offering is an aromatic hop bomb with plenty of crisp fruit and citrus notes from Nelson and Galaxy. There is plenty of welcome bittering from the Simcoe. Nice mouth feel and overall very drinkable.
