Very solid beer but a bit too heavy on the wheat and mouthfeel. Looks and smells great but needs a little more carbonation to hit the spot in terms of a wild. Almost drinks more like a lambic. Good beer though, worth trying.

Served in a tulip glass at Ale Arsenal.
A: Ruby-tinged auburn that's more opaque than not.
S: A powerful flavor that smacks you in the face with berries. This is marred slightly by a cloying sweetness, akin to cough syrup. Fortunately, the sheer force of fruit overpowers any offnotes. Yum.
T: Wow! It's good! You can tell they used real raspberries here, because it's such an earnest, tart, fruity flavor. No hint of cloying here. The fruit - expectedly - dominates the delicate style, and excellently complements the inherent tartness. Think of chewing raspberries with a tang of lactic acid. Except it's beer! How fun!
