375 ML bottle topped with white wax so the brewery can charge more for it, probably.
The pour is 3AM black with a head that hits age 61 in minutes. Nose is surprisingly spare; little vanilla, roast, barrel, but not much of any of these things.
Barrel Constrictor isn’t quite right. There’s an earthiness to this as if a layer of soil slipped into the bottom of the barrel, along with an entire bottle of Everclear. Boozy, earthy, with a sharp tang of wood with scattered showers of vanilla & chocolate. More like a mist. No bourbon to speak of. Glad this bottle wasn’t bigger.
New breweries to me are always a gamble & this one didn’t pay off. Strictly mediocre.

Bottle from 2021 release set. Black pour, thin ring of beige head. Aroma is a big hit of boozy roasty malts. Taste brings a touch of sweetness, light chocolate and coffee notes, and an ample supply of alcohol heat. Full and warming.
