Oh traffic, you're a funny thing when arguably ran into the ground. Anyhoo, this beer was added here in 2016. I am writing the first review for it on this Next Glass owned database in 2024. That's 8 years if you're reading this. (Seymour Skinner: Am I wrong? No, it must be the beer community.).
Pour is a dark golden color with 3/5" white head. Pretty good retention. Whereas this has Nelson, it is present, but its not the loads the commercial tug job speaks of. Its there, its good, it seems like a 33.3% split between the 3 hops. But the aroma is similar to the taste so read about the notes there.
The taste is like a strange mixture of oranges, passion fruit. body odor, garlic, weed, dankness, pine, rind. So basically Citra meets Nelson with Mosaic picking up the scraps. Does a really good job at making 8.3% really easy to drink.
This is a pretty good beer and I'd pick up cans if I saw them. Down bad? Could coping mechanisms be at play otherwise? Never ever from behind the curtain, enjoy moderation into the cornfield while sipping on this danker zone from Wal Mart vibe second tier Nelson hopped beer. Would bang again.
