This is by far the worst example of a NE Style IPA I've ever had. Dont get me wrong. I typically promote this brewery.
The look fits the style without question. The nose is muted. It's as if there's guava juice there, but isn't allowed to be let out. Here's the problem with the beer:
It tastes VERY minerally. Metallic. As if the beer tastes as much like the stainless steel tank as it does like the beer. Almost like you taste tin in the beer. This is one of the most flawed beers I've had from any professional brewery in all my years Geeked out on beer. This brewery usually kills it. This one's a rare miss from them.
