Bottled 2020
Poured at fridge temp into a weizen glass
Pours an inky brown, bordering on black with a decently present light chocolate colored head. 4
Rum strength and sweetness jumped out of the bottle as soon as I popped the cap. Looking for more but the rum really drowns out anything else I think. Sweet and boozy 3.75
Some dark roastiness, and hint of coffee, but fades fairly quickly to be replaced by booze and rum sweetness again. 3.75
Much more drinkable than the aroma implies. Silky soft but also oily with a decent carbo bite for being 2+ years old. Warming booze and even fuller body. 4
Overall this beer does exactly what it says and nothing more. Rum BA stout. 4
