This was the 6th beer I had on April 14, 2018, the inaugural hazy ipa festival combined with the regular old ass ipa (21st) festival at the Bistro. It clearly was the best beer name at the festival. Much awesomeness there.
Has a dull copper appearance, its muddled and almost gravy like with a 1/4" white head. Aroma gave off a minimal amount of the citrus/tropical vibe, but already its turning out I seem to like the beer name more than the beer itself.
The taste is in the hazy vein, lower bitterness, lower carbonation and lower clarity. I guess maybe papaya going on here from the hop notes. Much like some of the other hazy ipas on draft, this one seemed undercarbonated and lacking bitterness. Came closer to orange juice in execution. I'm sure that's what they were going for. It was good enough that I would try it again, but I think the 40ibu level and 2psi needs to come up a bit.
