This was the 12th beer I had at the Bistro's 21st annual IPA festival on April 14, 2018.
Pours a copper color with some unintended(?) haze indicative of a slightly bigger malt bill than your average ipa at this festival or otherwise in 2018. 1/2" light off white head. Aroma is a neat blend of that Mosaic dankness paired with the hybrid(?) like CTZ hop and then probably additional Simcoe bite.
Taste hits those older school bitter notes with the help of that Simcoe and CTZ tag team. You get alternating waves of bitterness and dankness hence the name, but the bitterness is the stronger of the two. There is a slight breadiness to the malt body without getting too much into caramel or heft. Carbonation could be higher.
Its decent stuff, but if you get into this beer solely for the danker aspect of it, you might be disappointed, as "bitter" will robinson would be a more fitting name representation of the beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
