Leathery black opaque pour with a tan collar. Huge boozy hazelnut and chocolate in the nose, plus mild roast and anise hints. Taste is actually very nutty with the hazelnut, not like a hazelnut liqueur, backed by big bourbon booze, the oak is nowhere to be tasted, the chocolate then comes in with somehow more booze, I love the moment where you get the hazelnut wholly with the chocolate, but it is fleeting because the booze washes everything away for a biting finish. Feel is very boozy, I would go ahead a say the early stage of hot, thinning out the body, the nuttiness is tasted more than felt.
