This deep dark beer takes some time to unravel and fully appreciate. Brewed with Styrian Golding hops and a blend of German and Belgian malts, The Black Dahlia honors the beauty and mystery of Los Angeles in the '30s and '40s.

Look: Deep brown with amber highlights in the light. Very thin tan head that quickly dissipates.
Smell: Sweet malt, a lightly sour banana note, spices, toffee.
Taste: Strong alcohol taste. Darkly fruity, spicy and peppery, and with very little bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Slightly thicker than average and very highly carbonated.
Overall: Decadent, spicy, and effervescent. I just wish the alcohol bite was a bit lower.

This stuff smells just like the ingredients. There is no other way to describe how good this is. Taste is good, feel is excellent, the ABV also helps.
this is not as good as the Patsy, but is excellent.
