Poured a cloudy, dark golden body that had a somewhat funky aroma but also some juicy hop bitterness.
Smooth beer that isn't too flavorful but the hops give off a buttery, oily, slick feel and are not too bitter or biting, which is a good thing since there isn't much sweet malt/bready presence or sweetness from hops to speak of.
A rather straightforward hoppy beer and not sure it's DIPA material (considering the lower than usual which probably means I have the wrong number) that is worth trying, although in the American beer marketplace w/ DIPAs a dime a dozen this one does not stand out.
