From the bottom of the can: "CANNED ON L2 02/22/22 10:14:31"
Appearance: The body is a medium-dark shade of gold, bordering on bronze. It is somewhat hazy but shapes are easily visible through the body. There is a ton of visible carbonation. It has an oversized, very large head that has a tobacco-stained white color. The head is very fluffy and has very good retention. There is some nice lacing on the glass.
Aroma: There isn't much aroma at all. There is a touch of yeast aroma and an extremely faint note of what smells like old beer in a glass. Getting to close gives off CO2 burn. It's pretty poor in the aroma department.
Taste: Caramel comes through up front. There is a bit of a floral flavor up front. Towards the middle of the palate there is this sweet caramel flavor. Grain flavor and some alcohol comes through in the middle. A nice prominent pine flavor rests easily on the center of the palate and is definitely the star of the show. The flavors stay the same to the rear of the palate and the aftertaste is bitter pine with a bit of carbon.
Mouthfeel: The body is medium with a noticeable slickness. Hop bitterness is high but there is also what seems like a bit of grain bitterness. The can states that this is "8.0% ABV" and some of the alcohol comes through but it never hampers drinkability.
Overall: The can states that this is a "DIPA WITH SIMCOE AND CENTENNIAL HOPS." As a whole it feels like a pretty average take on the style. The pine flavor is really nice and the strong bitterness are really good, but there isn't any aroma and at times the caramel flavor seems a bit overdone. It's a beer I could drink again but not one I'd probably buy. The slickness to the beer and the medium body make it a one and done. It's worth trying a single pour or can if you're having it at a place with some food but I wouldn't recommend a growler or a 4-pack.

Poured a brown body with good head and a little bit of lace patches. Dry, grainy, bitter hopped aroma with little breadiness but no real sweet malts at all in aroma. Medium bodied, not harsh but real dry and bitter, the hops are the end all and be all for this beer as there isn't much else in this beer save for a slight sweet and sticky finish at one point. Not as flavorful or powerful as some (west coast) IPAs that nuke your taste buds while giving off wonderful hop flavors but not bad.
